So today was yet another opportunity to realize just how much I have come to take for granted. Tonight my parents were like little children running out onto our balcony and back in to watch the water show that they do at the Dubai Mall fountain. This show rivals that of the Bellagio in Las Vegas. It really is very impressive.
I realized that although there are times when I stop to admire it, I have come to take it for granted because I have been seeing it every night since the fountain was inaugurated. It is one more indication that I really need to re-evaluate my priorities. It is really sad when you realize that you have wasted your time in stuff that was adding nothing good to your life. What the heck was I thinking?
