Lighting Geek Moment & 5th Avenue New York Public Library

During June I had the distinct pleasure of finally going to the 5th Avenue Branch of the New York Public Library. It is such a beautiful building and full of great details, but the lighting dork in me kept focusing on the way light entered or was used in this space. I was also fascinated by the beautiful murals. I did not take enough pictures of this place because unfortunately my camera ran out of battery but here are some of the ones I did manage to take.

I spent many, many hours there when I first came to NYC for grad school. Thanks for the blast from the past.

I love this place. I think another visit needs to be scheduled to take more & better pictures of all the wonderful details. I need to sign up to their news blasts to see when they are having special exhibits of their rare documents. Do you get those by any chance H?
