Made by Me - A Little Sweater

Alright so Monday didn't happen, thanks to the fact that I was slapped with an impromptu assignment from work. Anywhoo here I am again and I wanted to show you one of the little sweaters I made from a pattern in the book More Last Minute Knitted Gifts by Joelle Hoverson.

I made this sweater for our friends Bridget and Mike's baby. I also made another one like it in a light brown yarn for my husband's cousin's baby as well as a pair of booties. Unfortunately I did not get to take pictures of those because I was rushing to get them done in time for the baby shower which I managed. Maybe I can take some pictures of them later when the baby wears them.

I loved the pattern for this sweater because it was easy to follow and not too time consuming. The book has loads of great projects that are supposed to be quick and relatively easy to make for the avid knitter (which I am not, but I am getting there). I absolutely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys knitting and likes making their own gifts.

Unreal. I totally knit them the EXACT SAME FLIPPING SWEATER. In grey.

(totally cool... I'll make her a ring sling)

Can't wait to see you.

Great minds think alike. Anyway, I don't think they would mind having two great sweaters for the munchkin.
