Cocoon Coat, Carolina Herrera Spring 2011Lately I have been thinking about the fact that my wardrobe is a bit schizophrenic. I have some really great shirts and pants that I love because they have a classic look about them that can never go out of fashion and I am very happy about their ever graceful presence in my closet. Then I look at the majority of my clothes and I wonder just what the heck I was thinking when I bought them. They are absolutely not graceful nor beautiful and to be quite truthful they make me look so frumpy (totally not what I want to look like).
Anyway to make a long story short I was thinking about what my style really is and what type of clothes I would get if money were no object. I think that I really like the look of some of the classic movie stars like Sophia Loren, Audrey Hepburn ... you get the idea. I also love Carolina Herrera as a designer. To me she is the epitome of classic elegance. I also love Christian Siriano because he has really brought new life to the fashion world and really has such a great sense of style. So these images are but a few of the looks that I would like to achieve (granted I should really hit the gym for quite a few of them, but a girl can dream, can't she?)
